STONY BROOK UNIVERSITY - "WOLFSTOCK"
In 2002, John Kowalenko, Co-Owner of Art
of Eating, Catering and Events was approached by SBU who
sought his direction and expertise in their goal to expand
and capitalize on their Annual Homecoming Celebration. Dubbed
"Wolfstock" in tribute to their team moniker the
Sea-Wolves, University and Alumni officials were also anxious
to appropriately celebrate the opening of their new Stadium
- The Senator Kenneth P. Lavelle Stadium.

No surprises, the event - Wolfstock 2002
was a success, and building on that strength and outcome,
in 2003 Art of Eating was once again called upon to Co-Ordinate
and facilitate.
The 2002 attendance had almost 2000 paid
admissions into the V.I.P. Tent, in 2003 the crowd swelled
to almost 4000

Alumni and students were greeted inside
a 80' x 230' main tent with food and beverages provided
by over 40 restaurants, caterers, wineries and breweries.
A beer garden with live music was an added attraction to
the 2003 program, adding to the growing "Wolfstock"
Village
The Events Management Team from Art of Eating
coordinated the solicitation of all food and beverage vendors
for the V.I.P. Tent, which was a central attraction of the Wolfstock village.
In addition, Art of Eating's staff worked in conjunction
with many of the University departments, including Alumni,
Grounds, Engineering, Fire Marshall, Security, Environmental
Health and Safety.
